Minigrand

Mini-grand is a national robotics competition inspired by the DARPA Grand Challenge. It's held each year at the Abington branch of Penn State University. Because the competition involves similar mechanical, engineering and programming challenges to IGVC, we employ Mini-grand as a test ground for our most refined algorithms.

Last year, MDRC took the first place prize, reaching the first four waypoints. Additionally, during our team's testing phase, AMOS III completed the entire course without making a mistake. This was the first instance of a complete course run in the history of the competition.

Check the Penn State University robotics club's public facing wiki for more information on the format of the competition.
